A group villa in Porto for up to 6 friends, with a private pool, two super-king suites, and the freedom to take over the whole property. Villa Almada is the right size for three couples, six close friends, or a small group on a long weekend, small enough to feel together, big enough that nobody is on top of anybody.
Whole-villa exclusivity, no other guests
You take the whole villa. Private pool, private garden, private terrace, no shared spaces, no other guests wandering past in the morning. The kitchen-living-diner is where the group eats together, and the garden is the late-afternoon spot once everyone’s back from the day.
Two super-king suites for three couples
Each suite has its own ensuite bathroom. The super-king beds can split into two singles, so the group can configure for three couples, or a mix of doubles and twins. Either way, no one is on a sofa bed and no one is sharing a bathroom with someone they don’t already share one with at home.
Daily breakfast, daily cleaning
The villa rate includes daily breakfast (served at the villa or in La Cuisine in the Maison next door) and daily cleaning. For a group stay, that’s the difference between a holiday and the same group dynamic you’d have at home with someone always doing the dishes.
In the centre, walkable to the bars
Rua do Almada is right in the heart of Porto. Ribeira and the Douro riverside are 10 minutes on foot, the wine bars and restaurants of Cedofeita and Galerias de Paris are even closer, and the port lodges across the river are an easy walk over the Dom Luís I bridge. See the best bars in Porto for where to head first.
Best for up to 6 adults in three couples or a tight group of close friends. Not the right fit for hen weekends of 8+, big bachelor parties, or party-house groups, for that scale, ask about combining with the Canto de Luz Boutique Maison in the same garden.
Frequently asked, before you book
How many friends can stay at the villa?
Up to 6 adults across two ensuite super-king suites. Best for three couples or six close friends. We do not accept hen weekends of 8+ or large parties.
Can the beds split into twins for shared rooms?
Yes. Each super-king bed can be configured as two singles, so friends sharing a room have proper separate beds.
Is the villa quiet enough at night?
Villa Almada is a private villa in the garden of a boutique hotel. We expect normal villa-stay noise levels; we are not a party venue and ask that guests respect the quiet enjoyment of the wider property.
Can you help with restaurant bookings and Douro day trips?
Yes. Send us a message before you arrive with what your group wants, and we will pull together restaurant recommendations and bookings, port-lodge visits, and Douro Valley day plans.
